In June 2026, serial founder Grace Beverley joined water filtration company Water2 as a co-owner. After joining, Grace launched their newest shower-filter line, Water2Skin, alongside existing co-owner Bear Grylls.

What makes this acquisition particularly fascinating is how it differs from Grace Beverley’s previous company strategies.

Having built SHREDDY, TALA, and The Productivity Method from the ground up, she instead bought into a company with $50 million in sales and 250k customers.

Starting with Bear Grylls and now Grace Beverley, creators are bringing their credibility and audience into machines that are already thriving.

It seems like the creator-business story has gone one of two ways: either start a company from scratch and scale it, or have a brand acquire you.

In both scenarios, the creator starts with nothing or is the asset that’s being bought. The risk is completely lopsided toward the creator-founder.

Grace Beverley’s Water2 investment completely turns the playbook on its head. She’s no longer the asset being invested in, but the purchaser who’s buying in.

Before, Grace would have to build both the brand and the brand audience from zero.

Now, her audience leverage is strong enough that acquiring equity in an established machine creates instant value for both parties.

Most creators don’t realize how difficult it is to be a creator-founder.

On top of making content, you have to handle the supply chain, sales, operations, and every other responsibility of a business owner.

The operational side is where most creators fall short. However, Grace Beverley is proving that an established audience allows you to bypass those brutal stages entirely.

So instead of only thinking, “What can I launch?” also ask yourself, “What can I accelerate?”
