On July 14, 2026, a Mexico City-based filmmaker/creator known as Gawx Art released a short documentary called “Fred again..: Behind the Sound.”

The doc captured the buildup to DJ Fred again..’s final show of the 2025 USB002 tour in Mexico City.

The film takes you inside the mind of one of the world's most famous DJs, documenting the music creation and venue setup that usually stay behind closed doors.

Gawx was given full creative license to portray the event and what it meant, a responsibility that required an eye and storytelling ability equal to the weight of the moment.

And Fred again.. chose a creator to carry that mantle.

Gawx recorded everything. From the making of the song. To the venue setup. To the introduction of the entire team: Lucy (LOOSE), Boris, Charlie, Theo, Jamie.

The documentary is more than a recording of the flashy ending. It’s a tribute to the creatives who normally go unseen.

And that’s precisely the point. The ethereal visuals, resonant music, and crazy crowds are the end product. But the documentary’s purpose is to celebrate the collective work of artists who built on passion, not perfection.

Authenticity over control.

Fred again..’s musical language is built on the raw, imperfect, emotional intimacy that produces beautiful art.

Fred trusted Gawx Art to express that language because Gawx’s films operate under that exact belief. The story and the narrator follow the same creative worldview and it’s exactly why the documentary doesn’t feel like a promotion.

Gawx’s specific taste was exactly what the event needed, and that’s the difference between a creator who gets rented for engagement alone and one who’s entrusted with something that truly matters.

And we’re starting to see that follower count matters less than ever, and the creator’s perspective is becoming increasingly valuable.

In order to take advantage of that value, you have to cultivate an identity that’s distinct. Gawx has proved that something unique beats something that’s polished.

And it’s why a creator was chosen over an entire studio.
